a brief history of Carline

1987

Walker Australia & Carline

Walker Australia assembles the team that would become the brand marketing and recruitment group. National Sales and Marketing Programme Manager Roger Keighley studies Carline Canada in an effort to create a local business model unique to the Australian Market.

1988

1st Carline Store Opens

Carline Morphett Vale SA opens it's doors launching the Carline brand in Australia and building the foundation for what would become the largest independently owned group in Australia by 1990

1990's

Mufflers.. and more

From 1992 and throughout the 1990's Carline began expanding it's service offerings beyond the muffler and exhaust market. Now able to provide servicing and brakes, the Carline tagline was now "Mufflers and more!"

2001

Investment in Technology

The 2000's ushered in a new era of vehicles. Advanced engine management and safety systems were no longer the domain of high priced euro vehicles. Carline invested in tech as well as training to ensure that the highest level of service was provided across all sectors of the industry.

2010

Extended Service Offering

Some 20+ years after the group started, products and services offered by Carline stores grows to include: Servicing, Brakes, Suspension, Batteries, and much more.
